3:30pm USAJOBS & Federal Employment Opportunities: Michael Modawell and Christopher Hanson, Business Development and Strategic Engagement Officers for Fort McCoy, will present about Fort McCoy and discuss some of the jobs that are available at the installation. They will give a brief introduction to USAJobs.gov, the sole gateway website to apply for federal employment.
4:00pm LinkedIn: Presented by Myron Daubert, DWD Employment & Training Counselor. Learn how to effectively utilize this powerful job searching, networking, and career development tool. If you do not have an account yet, learn why LinkedIn is the future of job search and career development.
5:00pm Interviewing: Learn the basics of effective interviewing for employment. Discover the importance of preparing for the interview, providing a descriptive and appealing representation of what you have to offer in an interview, and appropriate follow up to the interview.
