Bartender
This position is located at McCoy's Community Center. The McCoy's Community Center Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Fort McCoy Community.
Announcement will a have a first cut office date of January 29, 2026. Applicants that apply prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Follows established procedures in operating a full-service bar, mixing and serving a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips. Receives and checks quantity and description of stock.
- Stocks bar, utensils, equipment and keeps work area clean and sanitary. Keeps record of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor.
- Uses tact and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a physical.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Standing for long period of time.
- Must be 18 years of age by date of appointment to meet state age requirements for position.
- Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
- Uniforms and name tags are provided and required.
- Seven-day operation and shift will primarily be evenings and weekends. Shift may vary due to mission. Nights, weekends and holidays are required.
