DESCRIPTION:Sandhill Cranes are one of the many wonders within Sandhill Wildlife Area. Join the Friends of Sandhill to witness the spectacular showing of thousands of cranes coming into roost on the Gallagher Marsh. We will drive to a dike near the Gallagher Marsh and hike to the viewing area. PLEASE wear camo or neutral-colored clothing that is not black. Feel free to bring cameras\, binoculars\, walking sticks\, flashlights\, and something to sit on if desired. Meet in the Sandhill Parking lot at 3pm. Preregistration is required before October 16th along with a $15 registration fee per person or FREE for Friends of Sandhill Members.
