6th Annual Squirrelfest
Squirrelfest, presented by North American Squirrel Association of Tomah, Tomah Lions Club, and Bluff & Ridge Equine Therapy, is a FREE family festival held Saturday July 11th in Winnebago Park, Tomah, from 10am to 6pm.
Squirrelfest kicks off with a city-wide scavenger hunt for the "Golden Acorn" with clues posted on their Facebook page beginning July 1st. Rules and info will be posted on the Tomah Squirrels Facebook page.
Squirrelfest Fun and Activities:
- Live Entertainment – The All American Lumberjack Show featuring log boom racing, log rolling, racing hot saws, crosscut sawing, axe throwing, springboard tree chopping, obstacle pole racing and chain saw carving. Three shows – 11am, 1:30pm, & 4:00pm
- Lumberjack Camp: Why sit and watch when you can be a Lumberjack or Jill!? Learn from the pros to log roll, throw an axe, or crosscut saw. Camp at 12pm & 2pm (children age 5+)
- Tomah Chamber of Commerce Main Stage presents live music by Gary’s Ridgeland Dutchmen/Brueggen Family Band
- Adult Bucket Raffle
- Free Kids Raffle, Games, & Activities (10am – 4pm, kids and adult raffle drawing at 4pm)
- Free Fishing (age 15 & under)
- Free Bouncy Houses
- Free Pontoon Boat Rides and Wagon Rides
- Free Popcorn, Ice Cream, and Cotton Candy
- Free Face Painting, Free Arts and Crafts (11am – 2pm)
- Hansen’s IGA Bluff & Ridge Food Ten serving food, soda, and water
- Tomah Lions Club serving $2 Beers/ $3.00 Crafts/Seltzers
- Free Parking. Disabled parking available in the park. Overflow parking at Tomah High School.
