Deer Butchering Workshop
Join us at Sandhill Wildlife Area for an immersive and hands-on Deer Butchering Workshop, where you will gain essential skills in processing and preparing venison. The instructor will assist participants in breaking down a deer step-by-step and share tips on hanging a deer at home and storing your venison by wrapping or vacuum sealing for the freezer. Participants should come prepared to help skin, quarter, cut, trim, and package. All supplies will be provided, and you’ll go home with venison! Class is limited to 20 participants. Preregistration is required along with a $10 registration fee per person. To register or for more information please visit: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Lands/WildlifeAreas/sandhill/calendar
