National Night Out 2024 - Monroe County
Connect with Monroe County's emergency services personnel at the 21st Annual Monore County National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 from 4-8pm at Recreation Park, Tomah, WI. No charge to attend.
National Night Out is a night where police, emergency responders, and the community come together to promote safety, health, anti-crime activities, and neighborhodd friendliness. Over 40 not-for profit organizations participated in last year's event with various exhibits, informational booths, displays, and the Tomah Police Departement's Bike Safety Expo.
Several EMS organizations and not-for-profit groups have already been invited to participate in the event. Other organizations intersted in participating should contact Tomah Police Officer Melanie Marshall at (608) 374-7414 or email mmarshall@tomahwi.gov.
Officials ask residents to park in the gravel parking lot located on Butts Avenue and enter Recreation Park using the Monroe County Fair main entrance.
- 4 - 6 pm: Bike & Safety Expo (helments required); Safety course open until 5:45pm; Ages 3-15 may participate Parents must be present; Must be present during the drawing to win.
- 7 pm: Combined Tactical Unit (CTU) Demo & Mock Crash
- 4 - 8 pm: Health & Wellness Interactice Displays & Screenings
- 4 - 8 pm: Food & Refreshment Sales local vendors 4-8pm
