5K Teacher – Lemonweir Elementary
The Tomah Area School District is accepting applications for a long-term substitute kindergarten teacher beginning on or about August 4, 2022, to approximately November 16, 2022.
Lemonweir Elementary is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community. This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in: 1) RtI and PBIS, 2) Professional Learning Communities, and 3) Differentiated Instruction.
This position is a temporary position that will follow a 45-15 calendar. Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.
Preference will be given to candidates with a reading license and demonstrated knowledge of:
- Reading Workshop Model,
- Ready Math,
- Smart Board Technology,
- Lucy Calkins Writing and Reading.
Qualifications: Must have, or be eligible for, a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued Regular Education (1777) (70) or (71) or Elementary/Middle Level Education (1088, 1083) license.
