1st Grade Teacher – Miller Elementary
The Tomah Area School District is accepting applications for a long-term substitute first grade teacher beginning on or about January 13, 2025, for six (6) weeks.
Miller Elementary is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community. This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in: 1) RtI and PBIS, 2) Professional Learning Communities, and 3) Differentiated Instruction.
This position is a temporary position. Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.
Preference will be given to candidates with a reading license and demonstrated knowledge of:
- Foundational Reading Standards,
- Ready Math,
- Systematic and Explicit Teaching Methods.
Qualifications: Must have, or must receive prior to the first day of work, appropriate licensure for the position as determined by state law and the District.
