Full-time Loan Officer I - Sparta

1st CCU is searching for a motivated and member-focused individual who is passionate about helping people achieve homeownership and financial success. Does this describe you?  Join our team as a Loan Officer I and take on the role of guiding applicants through the mortgage lending process, building lasting relationships, and providing exceptional service from application to closing.

Associate's degree in finance and/or three years of real estate lending experience is preferred. Secondary market experience preferred. Successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  A commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance is essential, along with the ability to build relationships and provide outstanding member service.

What You'll Do:

• Interview and process mortgage applications
• Communicate loan decisions clearly to applicants
• Ensure mortgage loan transactions are processed accurately and efficiently throughout the lending process
• Build relationships with members and realtors
• Stay informed of mortgage industry trends and market conditions
• Provide sound financial guidance and cross offer products that truly help our members
