Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with children ages 2-18, particularly those with autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collect and record data on individual progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing strategies
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Work closely with individuals with autism or other behavioral health needs
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address challenging behaviors

Experience:
- Previous experience in patient care or behavioral therapy is preferred
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
- Understanding of special education practices and principles

Requirements:

-Must be at least 18-years-old
-Must have a high school diploma
-Must be willing to complete the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training.
-Must have experience working with kids
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Must be willing to work some evening hours

Benefits:

-Upon completion of RBT certification, starting pay is $18/hour.

Job Types: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
