The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2024-2025 school year:

Special Education – Occupational Therapist
The Tomah Area School District is accepting applications for a full-time or part-time special education Occupational Therapist beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. Experience working with special education students ages 3-21 is preferred. Candidates for this position must possess the skills and knowledge needed to provide the support services necessary for students with disabilities to achieve educational success. Help children do therapeutic activities, such as stretches and other exercises. Lead children who have impairments in activities that promote coordination and sensory integration. Knowledge of special education programs, processes, and procedures is preferred, especially MA billing. Excellent communication skills are required; the ability to communicate effectively with students and their caregivers is essential. Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with special education and regular education teachers and colleagues are desired. Candidate must be able to supervise OTA.
This is a full-time or part-time position with the ability to work a flexible schedule between 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. when school is in session.
Qualifications: Must have or be eligible to obtain a Wisconsin DPI license #0051 (School Occupational Therapist).
