Full-time Loan Officer II

1st Community Credit Union has an exciting opportunity to join our Lending Team as a Loan Officer II with a focus on mortgage lending.   This is a full-time 40 hr/week position that includes the opportunity to earn performance-based incentives. The Loan Officer II interviews and guides members through the mortgage application and closing process, prepares and processes mortgage loans in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations, stays current with lending regulations, real estate market trends, and secondary market programs, and ensures timely, accurate, and compliant loan processing. In addition, this role builds and maintains strong relationships with members, realtors, contractors, and other referral sources, as well as providing financial counseling and cross-offering appropriate credit union products and services.  Preferred qualifications include Associate's degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience, knowledge of secondary market programs, and 5+ years of real estate lending experience (preferred but not required). Must have proven ability to analyze complicated factual  and mathematical situations, apply functional principles, and develop solutions. Knowledge of sales and marketing is a plus.  We're seeking a candidate with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and lending software. Valid WI driver's license is required.
