The Tomah Area School District has the following long-term substitute teaching vacancy beginning as soon as possible through October 29, 2026:

            5th Grade Teacher - LaGrange Elementary
The Tomah Area School District is accepting applications for a long-term substitute 5th grade teacher beginning as soon as possible through October 29, 2026.
 
LaGrange Elementary is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in: 1) WiMLSS, 2) Professional Learning Communities, and 3) Universal Design for Learning or Differentiated Instruction.
 
This position is a temporary position.  Co-curricular and advisor positions are available.
 
Preference will be given to candidates with a reading license and demonstrated knowledge of:
 

  1. Science of Reading Instructional Practices,
  2. Ready Math,
  3. Systematic and Explicit Teaching Methods,
 
Qualifications: Must have, or must receive prior to the first day of work, appropriate licensure for the position as determined by state law and the District.
