What You'll Do
As the Math Interventionist, you will:
· Provide targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 mathematics intervention for middle school
students using evidence-based instructional practices.
· Use assessment data to identify learning gaps, monitor student progress, and adjust
instruction to maximize student growth.
· Deliver engaging small-group and individualized instruction focused on building
mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and student confidence.
· Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, school counselors, and
administrators to develop intervention plans that meet students' needs.
· Assist in analyzing district and building assessment data to support instructional
decision-making.
· Monitor intervention effectiveness and communicate student progress with staff and
families.
· Support implementation of district math initiatives and instructional best practices.
· Foster a positive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged,
and empowered to take risks in their learning.
· Build strong relationships that encourage perseverance, resilience, and a growth
mindset.

· Is reflective, innovative, and committed to continuous professional growth.
Qualifications
Required:
· Wisconsin teaching license appropriate for middle school mathematics or related
instructional area.
· Strong knowledge of mathematics instruction, intervention strategies, and progress
monitoring.
· Experience using assessment data to drive instructional decisions.
· Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
· Experience providing mathematics intervention in a middle school setting.
· Knowledge of MTSS/RtI frameworks.
· Experience with diagnostic assessments and progress-monitoring tools.
· Training or experience in evidence-based mathematics intervention programs.
