The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2026-2027 school year:
 

Middle School Social Studies Teacher
Tomah Middle School is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in Social Studies. This is a full-time position starting with the 2026-27 school year.  Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available. 
 
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge of:
 

1) RtI and PBIS,
2) Professional Learning Communities,
3) Differentiated Instruction,
4) Ability to enhance learning and student engagement through interactive use of technology, and
5) Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for Social Studies.
 
Qualifications: Must have, or be eligible for, a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued license in any content area allowing you the ability to teach middle  school age students.  Preference given to candidates with Broad Field Social Studies (1701), or Elementary/Middle Level Education (1088) or Regular Education (1777) with a Social Studies Minor.
