The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2026-2027 school year:
Middle School Science Teacher
Tomah Middle School is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community. This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in physical science, earth science, and life science.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge of:
1) WiMLSS,
2) Professional Learning Communities,
3) Universal Design for Learning or Differentiated Instruction,
4) Ability to enhance learning and student engagement through interactive use of technology, and
5) Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for Science.
This is a full-time position beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.
Qualifications: Must have, or be eligible for, a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued license in any core content area allowing you the ability to teach middle school age students. Preference given to candidates with Broadfield Science, or Elementary/Middle Level Education (1088), or Regular Education (1777) with a Science Minor. Must be licensed to teach grades 6-8.
