#924- Track and Field Athlete Aide- One Year Position for Spring Season Only
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to assist a track and field athlete during scheduled practice sessions. This role involves supervising and supporting the athlete while they complete workouts designed by the track and field coach.
Schedule
Practices typically take place in the afternoon or evening. The expected hours are approximately 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM daily, but flexibility is required as practice times may vary. Possible practice time slots include:
- 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
- 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist the athlete with daily workouts as provided by the track and field coach
- Supervise and support the athlete throughout the entire practice session
- Ensure the athlete is safely guided from the beginning to the end of each practice
- Accompany the athlete during workouts that may take place outside of the track facility when required
- Interest or experience in running or cycling
- Ability to accompany the athlete during off-track workouts such as running or biking routes
COMPENSATION: Wage will be in compliance with the employee handbook for the time worked. $18.69-$19.21 per hour.
