#939- Middle School/High School Non-certified Aide: M-F, 7:45am-3:30pm (7.25 hrs/day) when school is in session

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will support Middle and High School students in both individual and group settings while collaborating effectively with staff, administrators, parents, and the public. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to supervise and manage student behavior in a positive and professional manner.
Preferred candidates will have experience in education, child development, or a related field through post-secondary coursework or relevant work experience. Knowledge of music and school music programs is highly desirable.
This position also requires basic computer proficiency and the ability to work with web-based programs; training will be provided as needed. Attendance at concerts and school music events is required and will be compensated outside of the regular school day. Paid First Aid and CPR certification training will be provided if certifications are not already current.
 
COMPENSATION:  Wage will be in compliance with the employee handbook for the time worked.  Work schedule will be from Monday-Friday 7:45am-3:30pm (7.25 hrs/day) when school is in session
 
DUTIES: Work with classroom teachers.  Work with individuals or small groups under the supervision of the teacher.  Operate office machines, type student materials and keep records.  Supervise students on the playground and/or the lunchroom; watch for potentially hazardous situations. Any other duties assigned by the building principal or teacher.
