The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning October 21, 2024:
 

Middle School Mathematics Teacher
Tomah Middle School is seeking a creative, innovative educator who can establish positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in mathematics.  Candidates should possess knowledge of current practices and methodologies in the teaching of mathematics, knowledge of and ability to teach students with special needs and the ability to instruct remedial courses and to work with at-risk youths.  Computer experience and ability to teach students using technology is required. 
 
            Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated knowledge of:

  • RtI and PBIS
  • Professional Learning Communities
  • Differentiated Instruction
  • The Common Core State Standards for Mathematics
 
This is a full-time position starting October 21, 2024.  Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available. 
 
Qualifications:  Must have, or must receive prior to the first day of work, appropriate licensure for the position as determined by state law and the District.
