The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2024-2025 school year:
 
            Tomah Middle School Special Education EBD Teacher
Tomah Middle School is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in:  1) RtI and PBIS, 2) Professional Learning Communities, and 3) Differentiated Instruction.  The preferred candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized and demonstrate a positive attitude.  This position requires strong academic skills and behavior management skills with training and/or experience in working with students with behavioral and/or emotional difficulties.  Candidates must have knowledge of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) strategies and techniques, or willingness to be trained. 
 
This is a full-time position starting in the 2024-25 school year.  Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available. 
 
Qualifications:  Must have, or must receive prior to the first day of work, appropriate licensure for the position as determined by state law and the District.
